Mercury goes RETROGRADE from October 11th until November 1st. The effects can already be felt, especially if you’re a Virgo or Gemini ruled by Mercury.
Peace and Prosperity,
Kerry
LIBRA
Happy Birthday to the sign that loves balance, harmony, peace, and love!
The first half of your year finds you exceptionally ambitious. Careful not to step on toes or create animosity as you race forward in your career. Now is the time to accomplish goals.
The next two years finds you much more focused in your thoughts but don’t dwell on all work and no play ~ Libras need their leisure time ~ or you may become depressed.
Health is still unpredictable ~ watch nerves and sudden flare ups around feet and ankles.
Your communication skills, reading and writing ability, learning capacity, and innate charm are still highlighted until mid December. The holidays shifts focus to much love and celebration with family. Do something special this year.
As 2008 gets underway there could be a huge push/pull dynamic between career and home.
You’re starting a long period of deep personal transformation that will affect your nearest and dearest. Your need for independence, and to ‘shake up’ your routine, will continue to influence your daily life.
Communication, transportation/travel, acquisition of knowledge, legal affairs and in-laws, all remain unpredictable. Sudden change around your work and home life are likely for the better. Take care with what you say and how you say it, the first half of October.
Children, lovers and pets may be coping with issues they’ve had for a long time. Help them find their spiritual path or join them on it! They need to be around a water element. Music and creativity are powerful too.
Channeling your spirituality into creativity will help you stay more grounded in romance which starts the month off with a bang ~ perhaps with a friend! The last half of Oct. encourages you to communicate your dreams and fantasies.
After the 6th, love becomes more introspective or secretive as the focus shifts to career. Many positive events are in store between the 7th-18th. Take notice of any hidden financial transactions, especially around the 13th ~ ouch, and the 18th-20th.
The spotlight is on you and your personal finances and values this month, also highlighted by Mercury Retrograde. The 18th-22nd has you feeling powerful and self assertive . Expect an epiphany the 22nd-25th. Don’t spill secrets the 27th-29th.
ARIES
Mercury retrograde shares the focus on partnerships and joint finances. Work and health require more effort now. Ask for a raise after the 7th but avoid the 13th. Turn hidden anger into positive energy by working out at home the 7th-18th. Inspire partners to join you the 18th-22nd. A sudden health flare up can occur the 22nd-25th, around the throat, kidneys, bladder or lower back. Excess is not best the 27th-29th. Anxiety around beliefs, the first half of October, can bring great spiritual encounters the last half. Long distance romance is hot the 1st -6th.

JUPITER, Greater Benefic
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. Jupiter expands what ever it touches ~ does things big!! Therefore it’s considered lucky ~ associated with increase, abundance, magnification, growth & expansion. Negatively it would be excess, too much of a good thing ~ i.e.: weight gain. It can exacerbate issues already present. Jupiter can be extravagance, or over confidence, given to a lack of conscience ~ lets you think you can get away with things.
A risk taker, it rules speculation/gambling but it does imply good fortune, and success, also fun, enthusiasm, happiness, good will, philanthropy, and generosity.
Jupiter is about faith ~ figuratively it’s optimism, literally, religion/spirituality. It’s associated with beliefs, idealism and philosophy. It rules universal laws, the ‘bigger picture’and travel both physical (usually long distance or foreign) & astral ~ expansion of the mind.
It’s generally an indicator of good health.
Thursday - the God Thor
Transits the Zodiac every 12 years. It spends approximately 1 year in each sign. Jupiter returns are significant, indicating optimism and a fresh start to a 12 year cycle. It can also, on occasion, represent death, as death is a blessing for those who pass.
SATURN, Greater Malefic
Saturn was the farthest planet from Earth until Uranus’ discovery. Saturn contracts. It’s associated with cold weather and rules the signs of the coldest months in the Northern Hemisphere ~ January/Capricorn & February/Aquarius. It contracts, crystallizes, solidifies, confines, and restricts. Therefore it is usually associated with hard luck ~ delays, setbacks, frustrations, and limitations.
Saturn creates boundaries, therefore it disciplines us. Its our conscience, caution, self control or reality check. It can also manifest as guilt.
In addition to the Sun, Saturn is associated with the Father in the natal chart. We look to it for strength, security, stability, and longevity. It relates to Father time in that you have to pass life’s lessons in order to reap its rewards. Saturn necessitates perseverance, determination, and prudence. It requires the patience, necessary to achieve! It’s routine, practicality and predictability. It’s our responsibilities, duties, chores, and obligations.
Saturn is about structure both figuratively & literally. It rules tall buildings, bone structures, and the skeletal form.
Often, it’s associated with bad health, especially depression. It can create fear, anxiety, worry, insecurity, & inhibitions (subdues optimism).
Due to it’s restrictive nature, Saturn is conservative and frugal (economically practical), but it demands great respect for it’s endurance.
Saturday
Saturn takes approx. 29.5 years to orbit the Zodiac (approx. 2 1/2 years in each sign). The ages of 28 -31 are a very crucial time in a persons life. You come ‘into your own’ ~ it’s grow up time. People who don’t, usually have a hard time coping and are reluctant to change!

Transiting Cycles ~ approximately how long it takes a planet to rotate around the Zodiac
The Personal Planets
The Sun ~ 1 year (1 month in each sign)
The Moon ~ 1 Month ( Every 28 Days)
Mercury ~ Approx. 1 year. ~ Retrogrades 3 times a year for 3 weeks at a time (apply a 3 week shadow on either side)
Venus ~ a little less than 1 year
Mars ~ 2 years (Approx 2 months in each sign)
The Bridge Planets
Jupiter ~ 12 years ( 1 year in each Sign)
Saturn ~ 29 years (Makes 29 years a significant age in a persons life. What happened when you were 29 (give or take a year)? It usually signifies important life lessons)
The Outer Planets ~ They move much slower due to their distance from Earth. Therefore their effects last longer and are more significant over time.
Uranus ~ 84-90 years ( 7-10 years in a sign)
Neptune ~ 171-180 years ( It’s hard to predict an exact orbit)
Pluto ~ Plutos orbit is irregular. Sometimes it is farther away than at other times. Right now it’s ‘closer’ to the Earth and it’s length of time in one sign is shorter than in the last century. Pluto will switch signs and move into Capricorn from Sagittarius at the end of January 2008. Look for big changes in Corporate America!
Outer Planets can represent certain behaviors: Uranus ~ Compulsive; Neptune ~ Escapist; Pluto ~ Obsessive
Planets supply & describe the energy
Signs represent how the energy gets channelled
Houses show where the energy is acted out
Aspects show the dynamics between the Planets
