FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE, JULY 7, 2009 (15 Degrees CAPRICORN) ~ Relationships! Resident Changes! Death of the old SELF, old ways, old habits! Hidden things coming to light!
Full Moons are a time of culmination, when things come to a head or come to fruition. Full Moons occur when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun. This full Moon in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn ~ hardships, delays, frugality ~ in the same sign as Retrograde Pluto ~ death, resurrection, transformation ~ is super charged as an Eclipse! Kick that energy up a couple notches!!
The Lunar Eclipse tonight and the Solar Eclipse in Cancer on the 21st ushers in a new series in the signs of CANCER & CAPRICORN. They will also be affecting ARIES & LIBRA (The Cardinal Signs). Remember, if your Moon or Ascendant/Rising Sign is one of the above, you will experience these vibrations too! Eclipse energy is felt for a approximately 2 years. The power of this series started back in April.
Because this Eclipse occurs in the same sign as Pluto, although theyre not that close, I think explains the rash of celebrity deaths. Only because theyre the ones we hear about. People may have pets or loved ones who have passed on recently too. It has a lot to do with transitioning to the next level and may be connected to the ascension process. Check out Karen Bishops site Whats Up On Planet Earth.
Eclipses themselves can be associated with death. Not just the physical but the complete transformation of self. This is a year of change for everyone worldwide. We must adjust our lives where we feel the need or the Universe will do it for us. Much better to initiate your own makeover!! Letting go of outdated ways, thinking, and doing is not an easy process. At least if you make the effort its showing the Universe your trying and making forward progress, even if its baby steps! You may want to start with cleaning out closets or a garage ~ great symbolism and a good use of this energy!
Eclipses also play a large part in Relationships. They can definitely bring about the death of a long term partnership thats way past its expiration date OR they can bring someone significant into your life!! If youve been waiting for someone special or something serious, an Eclipse affecting your Sign can really bring things to you ~ Be careful what & how you wish for it! Be really clear on your intent!
Another affect Eclipses have on the above mentioned signs is MOVING or important changes around the residence. My husband & I, both Aries, finally purchased a home in April after searching for many months. (Once the Eclipse energy started working on our sign, our offer was accepted after several rejections on prior properties.) Now as the Eclipse itself hits, were working very hard on our new home!

FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS! ~ Party, Party, Party!
Full Moons are when things come to a head or come to fruition. Either way it’s usually lively! And what could be more lively than a Full Moon in Sagittarius!?
Sagittarius rules higher education, Religion, Law, Philosophy, and distant people, places, and things. It is a fun, outgoing, and expansive sign.
Jupiter is Sagittarius’ ruling planet and currently resides in Aquarius ~ sign of the unusual, unconventional, higher minded, metaphysical, humanitarian, and inventive spirit! Aquarius is all about friendships and groups.
Given the two influences and the intensity of a Full Moon, one would expect a very social weekend. You could be home cramming for finals but don’t be surprised if you’re interrupted by boisterous friends!
There will probably be a lot of big year end parties on college campuses. There could also be many Spiritual gatherings or church picnics this weekend. Family reunions are favored too. It’s a good time be active in your community and network, network, network. A lot of socializing will probably be done over cocktails. Sag’s love their wine!
Sagittarians are usually very sports minded so there may be many sporting events this weekend (most likely followed by a big victory party!)
Either way, this weekend should be a lot of fun. The energy will be high and lively! All physical activities are favored and there will be a lot of stimulating conversation with the Sun in quick, witty Gemini!
Embrace this time to let loose and have a good time. Branch outside of your comfort zone and try new things. Sagittarius does it big and bold!!

Full Moons are a time of culmination ~ when things come to a head or come to fruition. Full Moons occur when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun. This full Moon is in the sign of Libra ruled by the planet Venus ~ femininity, love, romance, attraction, affection, and companionship. It falls opposite the Sun in Aries ruled by Mars ~ masculinity, passion, aggression, independence, and the self.
Relationships are all about compromise. The individual desires (Aries) versus that of the partner(ship) (Libra). When we get close to someone special and begin a relationship, we have to be careful not to lose ourselves in the union. This is especially true for women represented by Venus. A perfect metaphor is when women take their husbands sir name after marriage and automatically assume their spouses ‘identity.’ Mars, embracing the principal of masculinity and independence, is typical of men who often have trouble with commitment. Thus, a full Moon in Libra reinforces this traditional archetype. This is further magnified by the yin or feminine attitude of the Moon and the yang or masculine law of the Sun.
Also emphasized is the idea that all partnerships are a direct reflection of the self. We attract what we are. If you are struggling in close relationships and feel that you’re not attracting a suitable partner (Libra), you might first want to look at yourself and your individual needs (Aries). This is in no way meant to imply that you should take on someone-else’s issues or dysfunction. However, you may want to ask yourself:
~ Do I like to create or attract drama?
~ Do I need to play the victim in order to get attention?
~ Am I a natural nurturer/caregiver that desires to ‘save’ or ‘fix’ others out of innate compassion? This can be true of creative, artistic, spiritual types.
The trick is to define what message you are sending out because it’s exactly what you’ll attract. Once you honestly recognize your own behavior (Aries) you can effectively cultivate better relationships (Libra).
Because this full Moon is ruled by Venus which is in retrograde motion (moving backwards) now, the emphasis is on redoing or reviewing. If you are looking to reconnect with an old lover, rebuild a relationship, or rekindle a romance, now would be the time to reach out. Or you may want to turn inward and reflect. This is a perfect opportunity for retrospection and releasing the past. You can rebuild your self-esteem, restore your confidence, and replenish your soul. These last three concepts embody both Mars &Venus ~ Self Love. Then you’ll be poised to attract your ideal partner!
New Moons and Full Moons are excellent days to make a ‘Wish List’. Right down very specifically all the qualities you would like to manifest in a relationship and all the qualities you desire in a perfect mate. Take a look and see where they match up. Then you’ll have your blue print for the ultimate relationship!

While New Moons usher in new beginnings, Full Moons bring events to ‘a head’ or to fruition!
This Full Moon in LEO packs the power of an Eclipse and then opposes the planet Neptune, modern ruler of Pisces ~ in a nut shell ~ Party, Party, Party! Leo is after all the ‘party’ sign, loving a good time. It’s also the sign associated with ROMANCE! How appropriate for the month and week of Valentine’s Day?!
In addition, LEO rules children and creativity. You may be feeling extra childlike and your artistic abilities could be in overdrive!
This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse ties in the planet Neptune, ruler of ethereal beauty, art, music, Spirituality, water, illusion, deception, and addiction. It enhances the romanticism of LEO but can exacerbate any pre-existing issues.
Neptune’s biggest concern is boundaries ~ where and when to ‘draw the line’. It is a master of disguise and prone to denial. Combine this energy with the afore mentioned Eclipse in LEO and you may run into problems with taking actions too far. When it comes to love, Neptune can be the classic case of rose colored glasses. A Full Moon Eclipse in LEO can take your affections to a whole new level! Just make sure you’re seeing the person and situation clearly.
Eclipses often bring hidden things to light, so be careful what you try to hide with the Neptune influence because you could be exposed at a later date.
This Eclipse is affecting the “fixed” signs of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio. If you have your Moon and/or Ascendant in any of these signs you’ll feel the energy too.
Eclipses necessitate change. For these 4 signs it’s make or break around relationships ~ either it’s time to commit or the fat lady is singing! Do you desire a soul-mate? Because an Eclipse (especially with Neptune) can bring one your way. But as they say….”Be careful what you wish for because you just might get what you want” lol! A move is in store or a big change around your residence. It’s best to remain as flexible as possible or you could experience health woes. Neptune makes illnesses hard to diagnose. So again, excess is not best.
Neptune is in the sign of Aquarius, ruler of the collective, friendships, hopes, and wishes. If you have been setting your goals and intentions, and playing within the boundary lines, you can expect rewards now, especially where others are concerned! If you’ve been naughty, you could get caught with your pants down.
This Eclipse, with Moon opposite Neptune, can create the most beautiful of illusions for us. The key to happiness is being able to distinguish between fantasy and reality! In the words of Aerosmith ~ DREAM ON!
Peace, Prosperity, Parties, Love, Lust, Light, and Valentines ~

The full moon in ARIES puts the focus on our SELVES and puts a mirror on all our partnerships and close relationships. How we see and respect ourselves will reflect the treatment we receive from others – our family, # 1, our significant others and our romantic connections, our children, our friends and our social circle.
Friends may be in need of healing and the best way to help them might be to set an example. We can extend ourselves to them so long as we don’t deplete our own recourses. It’s useless to help people who don’t help themselves. Some of our associations may need to be let go of for this very reason. Holding onto those connections to further our social life when it’s taxing our energy can be self (Aries) defeating.
Our health is still a work in progress and we need to reserve our strengths for those tasks most important to personal growth. Pay extra attention to knees, bones, skin, teeth, and intestines.
Now is the time to rejoice in our spiritual enlightment and transformation. We have grown a lot over the last 14 years and can embrace new insights both within ourselves and the collective. We will continue to evolve using the lessons we have learned.
Sexuality is highlighted and can connect us to higher realms. However, we may need to draw boundaries between friends and lovers. Expect the unexpected and remain open minded and open hearted.
Finances are not as bad as one might think so long as we don’t spend more than we make! We must also be cautious with impulsive spending. Hard work is paying off nicely for those who have put in the extra effort. We are now seeing rewards for hard work! Any money constructively spent is good for circulating the economy. We can learn from the past but let’s not fear it or we’ll recreate a similar situation.
Mercury goes direct on the 15th, meaning it’s stationing (slowing down) this week. So communication and transportation are still delicate. Patience will be difficult during an ARIES moon. Let’s not get in our own way!
Let us use this energy to boost our spirits and better our world!!
