Happy Birthday to the most optimistic, free-wheeling, and fun sign of the Zodiac!  This isn’t just a new year for you but a brand new beginning!  You’re saying good-bye to a 14 year cycle that was very personal to your sign.  Tell me you’re not a totally different person than you were all those years ago?!?
You are beginning a critical 15 year period around your personal finances.  Your income can change drastically during this time and a whole new way of earning a living is a possibility.  You’ll definitely be paying a lot more attention to detail and you’ll want to have complete control over your money!  There will be an element of secrecy around what you make and spend.    There could be a mistrust of banks and financial institutions, too.

While you are not one to take change lightly, you still have another year ahead of it, particularly around all close relationships, the residence (a move is possible), and the career.   But fear not ~ it can be good!  It’s the Universes way of forcing you out of your comfort zone back onto your life path.  
The most unpredictable, perhaps unstable, and maybe the most exciting part of your life, has been around romance and children.  There’s a need for independence here and fear of commitment is possible.  Your offspring may be asserting their individuality and trying to define their own unique identity.   Lovers and kids will crave more freedom and not want to conform to rules and restrictions.  The best way to handle both may be to hold on with an open hand or to try something  unconventional.

Happy birthday to the most sensible, hardworking, and pragmatic sign of the zodiac! 
Onward and upward, steady as you go!  While things continue to move slowly, know you’re on path and that long deserved rewards await you next year.  You’ll gain immense satisfaction looking back at how far you’ve come and how hard you’ve worked to get there.  This year will certainly seem a lot easier than the last few. 
Children continue to move forward with lessons well learned.  They should be in a period of growth and illumination.  This year is the start of a major transformation for them.

This month highlights all relationships and work/career endeavors. Release your dreams to the Universe! 

This eclipse hits Neptune before it hits the Moon.  Neptune, co-ruler of Picses, is associated with many things. Negatively it is associated with depression/mental illness, and addiction ~ based on escapism/retreat from reality.  It creates fantasy and idealism ~ think ‘rose colored glasses’.
It also rules the feet and is accociated with water ~ think King Neptune!  It governs gases, oils, and chemicals of all kinds!  Health issues are possible, especially with the ankles and feet. Caution should be excercised with water sports.  Look for even more unusual weather patterns.

Positively, Neptune represents etherial beauty.  Most Neptunians have that “X” factor or Star quality.  It governs inate talent, especially with musicians, dancers, and artists. 
It is a very compassionate Planet.  Just like Pisces, Neptune has issues with boundaries.  Where does water go but all over the place?  It is accociated with sacrafice and Spirituality.

I think this eclipse will accentuate Neptune’s more positive qualities as both the Moon & Neptune are next to the North Node which guides our destiny!  The full Moon, Neptune, and North Node, are all in the sign of Aquarius which rules humanity, friendship, goals, hopes, and wishes.  As long as we choose to face universal circumstances realistically, and not succumb to Neptune’s seductive side, we can put forth measures that benefit the collective.  Perhaps carpooling with friends or using mass transit options will be the result of the current gas crunch?!  Maybe we’ll see some alternative changes made to our health care system?  These are only a few of the possibilities. 

The signs most likely to be affected by this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse are Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio.  If your Moon or Ascendant is in one of these signs you may feel the effects more profoundly, too.  Change is your saving grace.  Expect the unexpected around relationships, career, home, family and real estate matters.  Eclipses bring hidden things to light.  If you have been living in the comforting fog of Neptune, this event could be a major eye-opener!  Rest assured ~ the Universe is promting you to follow your life path.

Expect some big changes for yourself and your significant others.  The more obstinate or resistant you are, the harder your transition will be.  It’s not about relinquishing control but having faith in the Universe.  Let it guide you towards your destiny!
Your partnership sector is very fated at this time!  Established unions will benefit from the partners achievements.  Newer engagements will be focusing on long term goals, and single Leos may find their soul mate. You’re feeling exceptionally passionate right now! JULY 2008 ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTIONS
 
This month marks my first anniversary of writing this column!  I hope you enjoy your monthly updates as much as I enjoy plotting the planets for each sign.
Happy 4th of July!!

CANCER
Happy birthday to the most nurturing, sensitive sign of the zodiac! 
This year sees major change around partnerships!!  Right now until years end, it is make or break.  Past issues could be coming to a major climax. 
2009 can usher in new contenders.  You will be attracting very intense people.  Their powerful presence may move you deeply.  Be aware of those who come on too strong and stay away from anyone who poses violence.  If you have problems with a stalker, now is the time to address them!  Otherwise, look forward to some really passionate encounters.  Luck continues to be with you in the relationship sector but until early September the focus is on the past rather than the future.  Law, travel, education, and spirituality, play an important role in close encounters!  The 24th-28th bodes well for communication.
There is a push/pull dynamic between sexuality and morals at this time.  You’ll be rethinking your values.

ARIES
This month brings unexpected career rewards from behind the scenes.  Pay attention to your intuition, especially the 6th-9th and after the 14th.  Prior to that, communication with friends and groups is favored ~ destiny plays a role the 9th-12th.
Things heat up around the home so exercise and stay busy.  Look for positive results the 11th-16th.
Give special consideration to reoccurring health concerns related to knees, skin, bones and teeth.  It’s an excellent time to join a gym.
You’ll burst into the spotlight after the 19th, so be ready to shine!
 

Mercury is RETROGRADE from January 28th until February 18th.  It’s effects can be felt for up to 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after in what I call the “shadow” period.  If you’re a Virgo or Gemini, ruled by Mercury, this may be an exceptionally challenging time.
There are also two Eclipses this month.  A Solar Eclipse on February 6th (New Moon) begins a 1 1/2 year cycle in Aquarius/Leo ushering in major change for those signs and Taurus’s and Scorpios.  A Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) on the 20th will be the last in the Virgo/Pisces cycle.  Those 2 signs and Sagittarians and Geminis can finally complete their major change cycle within the next few months.  Because Eclipse cycles and their effects last for months, I did not stress the energy on the specific days but instead tried to highlight what area of life each sign will be experiencing the most change.

AQUARIUS

Happy Birthday to the sign that is progressive, enlightened, innovative and inspired!  While some Aquarians are the classic ‘free spirits’, others are the complete opposite, sharing more in common with their neighbor Capricorn.  Whether you’re unconventional or more traditional you all share an above average intelligence and love to be in what I call your “comfort zone”.  Typically all Aquarians have a difficult time with change.  You are one of the 4 fixed signs ~ Leo, Taurus and Scorpio being the others.  These signs like to be in total control and can be extremely stubborn.  The danger is not to get stuck in your own energy ~ staying too long in relationships, and out grown careers etc. 
The afore mentioned Eclipse cycle has been tickling you since about November.  It is time to shake things up a little or a LOT!  If you don’t take it upon yourself to diversify, the Universe will do it for you.  It will be a lot more pleasant for you to make (and control) the change yourself than to have it done to you, even though you’re the one sign most connected to the cosmos!  Expect to move or alter your residence in the next year and a half.  In addition you can expect major changes around relationships ~ it’s make or break time! 
Destiny is working in your favor.  This cycle affords you the opportunity to follow your dreams and goals and make them into reality.  As you grow and expand, you may attract people who seek your guidance.  Relationships can become difficult as others are working out their karma while you are excelling.  As you raise your own vibration you will raise the vibration of those around you but only if they are open to it. Your psyche and unconscious are beginning a major purging.  Deep secrets are being dredged up over the next 15 years and your subconscious may feel over powered.  Be aware of strong hidden enemies and self destructive tendencies.  It’s an excellent time to invest in psycho therapy or a past life regression.  You’ll be feeling so intense that your physical health can be impacted so take care of YOU!
For years, you or a male close to you, may have experienced physical or mental health issues.  You have also dealt with deception or self delusion, disappointment or just plain dissolving of something important.  While this influence is still in affect for a few more years, it’s also an opportunity to reach your highest spiritual potential.  Your innate intuition is taking on a more sensitive side.  Your perception may not be so clear but your sensitivity is high so pay attention to how you FEEL.  It’s also a good time to abstain from alcohol and drugs, including prescriptions.  You’re very prone to addiction now as a form of escapism. 
This is an excellent year to explore mind travel, metaphysics, and tap into your higher conscious!  After the 18th, communication and mental clarity will seem clearer and you’ll be feeling very optimistic.
The focus shifts to finances at this time which continue to remain unpredictable.  Use your insight and innovation when making purchases.  It’s not a good time for investments until after July.  Partners could be suffering financially at this time resulting in a lack of passion.  Take the next 6 months to go over joint affairs.  
Romance, children and creativity are finally regenerated now making you want to go out and play!

CAPRICORN
You are used to standing strong and silent.  However, big planetary shifts are occurring in your sign!
Your usually conservative demeanor got a jovial boost over the holidays with luck and abundance coming easily to you!  Caps are never one to shy away from hard earned money so you may feel a little out of sorts accepting things you didn’t have to work so hard for!  Enjoy.  This expansive cycle is here for a year bringing not just general increases but also expansion of the mind, a renewed interest in travel, and perhaps new spiritual beliefs.  This sector is going under a lot of scrutiny until early September.  It’s an excellent year to go back to school or find a new church or spiritual group.  This is really your time to shine so long as you don’t give in to excess.
At the end of January, life as you know it will start to change forever!   You may already be feeling this on the subtlest of levels and your personal transformation will take place over many years.  People, places, things, and thought patterns that no longer suit your well being will gradually be replaced over a long period of time.  Learn to let go and surrender to the Universe knowing it has your best interests in mind.  You are no longer steering your own course but have become a passenger in the seat of life.  Hang on tight for one wild ride!
Destiny is also taking over your personal finances in a very positive way guiding your existence to where you’re meant to be.  How you earn your income and deal with your recourses will have to be in tune with your values now.  Expect positive changes over the next 18 months as you align your goals with your dreams. 
Shared recourses, partnership income, inheritances, and investments, will be coming under scrutiny, too, with karmic implications.  Better to go it alone financially and not rely on others help.
Work or health irritations could reoccur this month.  It’s a good time to refocus energies.
Communication is still erratic and will continue to offer unexpected surprises.  Be prepared for relatives and neighbors to catch you off guard.  Think before you speak as   your mind is moving faster than your tongue!  You’re also riding the crest of a technological wave which can help you advance your financial status and boost your personal charisma.  Stay alert!  And drive safely.
You will be feeling especially enlightened the 4th-7th although upsets could occur behind the scenes with in-laws, legal matters or travel arrangements.  The 6th-8th is positive for finances as is the 18th-21st but beware of hidden jealousy the latter days.  Unexpected recourses could come to light through dreams or meditation the 15th-23rd.  Your mind is a powerful tool!  Don’t fall prey to fantasy or self delusion with money the 20th-23rd. 
Passion peaks for you like never before the 23rd-25th.   Be somewhere where you can be noticed.  (You are more comfortable in the spot light this year.)  The 29th-31st is absolute bliss!  Careful not to over indulge.
